Purified Convictions

Just the other evening I was having a conversation with my immediate family concerning torture and what the CIA was allowed to do under what is known as 'Cheney's Law'.

The general consensus from the family was on the defensive of the Bush Administrations actions concerning torture and resistance to the McCain law. They made the case that we have to consider torture in order to fight the war on terror.

I took a different approach. While I understand the idea behind torture. And understand why people believe it to be a real source of information. I cannot see Christ in doing those actions. I do not see Christ holding a man underwater.

And my opinion goes even further, if you support torture, then generally speaking you would have no problem torturing an individual. You would have no problem causing that person pain and distress.

And again I feel I must fall back on the word of God concerning this because we as Christians are not defined in our lives by what the GOP believe or the Democrats or any other political line of thinking. We should be defined by what the word of God dictates about our lives.

Proverbs 25:20-22

If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

It does not say, a tooth for a tooth. It doesn't say to treat him like he is the enemy. And in a sense this has scripture has defined the United States of America for generations. During World War II when our enemies were starving our POWs, the United States provided blankets and food and fulfilled all the needs we could provide for theirs.

This is what has made America great. Not our military. Not our economy. It is our desire to fill our enemies need. To love them.

Did you know that while we were at odds with North Korea, we still sent them over $9 billion in food aid a year? Because that is what America is. We love people. We are a Christian Nation and we are not to torture those less fortunate to us. No matter what side they are on.

Proverbs 16:7

When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

And we please God by doing what his word has commanded us to do.

Matthew 5:43-45

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Only in obeying the word of God can this land in which we live be respected and loved. Not by electing a democrat or republican or anglican.

Its only by serving God, can such be a achieved.

Ah yes. It is that time again I suppose. That time of the year where we spend our time pre-occupied about the man that we are too vote for to run the most powerful nation on the face of this planet; earth.

And while I have my likes and dislikes of these candidates, and they all have their merits which would make them a strong choice. The decision we make on November 8th should have little or no bearing to that of the lives of those that serve Christ. And what I mean by this, is that Christians are not bound by this physical world we live in, for our calling is unto a higher calling. We as Christians need to know that we are not to worry about who are what is going on around us. And now let me clarify...

Christian Man. Christian Woman. We are not to deny the plight that we see around us. If we see need, we are too fulfill it, not belittle it. For there are people out there that are in the fight for their lives, and they have no hope. WE are their hope in this world. We are to bring Jesus into their lives. The change that carries no understanding.

And we are to influence the world around us. The greatest way to change the world around us is prayer. The constant communion with God in our private lives but also the prayer that God would continue to lead this nation and that he would raise up a leader who will stand for righteousness and work to destroy the works of the wicked.

And the second greatest way to change the world is to embody God's heart as our own. God loves every person on this earth, there are none that are not his, for all are his. Osama bin Laden is his creation. Britney Spears is his creation. Hillary Clinton is his creation. Ted Bundy is his creation. The person at work that may hate your guts, is his creation. We as Christians need to get intimate with the heart of God and pray and love these people, just as Christ did.

The way we are going to change this world is through love. Not by politics. Not by voting. Though all these help, we must first live up to the name of Jesus and be a true example of his life and the love he is.

I really hope this entry, invokes all of us. Including myself. Especially myself. To love more and to engage more in with the heart of God. To understand God and his direction.

This story breaks my heart. I am truly burdened to pray for these women.

Now, you know what? I hear it from Christians all the time,I want to be pure, but don't know how! Well I found it. Thats right, I found it. The treasure among Christians, sought for thousands of years. You ready?

If there is anyone out there struggling to be pure for him. Its as simple as going to God and asking for wisdom and then in order to KEEP your ways pure, LIVE according to the word of God. Not some tabloid or some horoscope. According to God's word, and God's word alone.

I have very little direction when it comes to what I am about to write. But I believe it is that time again to write again about the words that my heart dwells on and wishes to be expressed.

A couple of things have happened in my direction with God. I was pursuing a girl who was not to pursue, at least not right now. Most of my friends who read this blog, know who she is, but most still don't understand why I don't talk to her or better yet are not dating her.

Simply because God has resend such authorization for either or both. She is in direct communion with God right now. I am not to mess with that in anyway. And I will not. I speak this way to all my friends, for I love her and in the love I have for her, it is not a selfish love, so I release her, I give her up because I love her. With that said. Most of you will not here me speak of her in a respect that is dishonoring to my commitment with her and God. She is still my best friend and has been for 6 years, but I must let her go to be with God. And if she is to be mine...

God will bring her to me.

I have jewelry that she has given to me and even a diamond for her. I am to sell it all, and give my entire heart to God. For no one can have my heart, it all belongs to God.

This has been on my heart for awhile now and I must confess it to you all for I fear I will explode.

It is my belief that today's young women both Christian and worldly women give up way too much of their physical bodies to men. Here are some of the examples I am talking about:

I was at Live Oak 18 Cinema complex the other night. The movie started at 7:30 PM and there I was spending 30 min and more for popcorn and a drink at 7:00PM. But while standing there I was allowed a prevue (I spelled it correctly. You can check) into the lives of many people of all ages and their in your face showing of PDA.

There was a young woman there probably no more than 15 standing in line with her boyfriend who looked to be 17. They were holding each other close and talking really close to each other's lips and so forth. But then he began to caress her lower back and then slipped his hand right into the back pocket of her jeans and... well squeezed her cheek. She reacted by grabbing his and she was giggling like it was a joke, but he wasn't laughing. Because you knew what he was thinking. He might not have been thinking about sex right at that moment, but it was just around the corner.

And then there was a young girl not passed the age of 14 and the dude she was with stuck his hand right down there where it didn't belong! Not under the jeans, but right down in front and continued too until he saw me staring at him in a dad like mad angry look. He stopped. At least while I was there. But the girl was just laughing it off and didn't care.

Women and girls these days give too much of themselves to men. I am speaking of Christian women too, too many women get as close to the line as possible and still call themselves virgins and lovers of God instead of lovers of pleasure. But if you are a true lover of God, you will push yourself further away from pleasure and more towards God and in this you will find great riches and the pleasure of the good kind that the world cannot buy or get.

Women, who do this to themselves, have you no shame? Have you no love for yourself? If you have none, then I encourage you to go to the God who fashioned you, because he surely loves you more than any of us could love ourselves.

Dress modest. Dress as you would before the King of kings. Dance only as you would dance before the King of kings. Would you allow a man to touch you and grope you and have sex with you...and use the the grace of God as your scapegoat? The word of God says not to do this. For you will not live a successful christian walk living your life in sin this way.

The greatest living to sexual freedom and true love is through the living word of Jesus Christ. Being in the word day and night. Don't have time? What a sad and lame excuse. You have enough time to put on your make-up and call your friends and see movies and study for school yet you have no time for God and his love.

Don't write me no angry letters now. I know men are just as bad. And believe me, there time is coming in the next blog. And they are going to get it just as bad.

Fool.
The word Nice in the ancient Greek means, just that, FOOL.
I was reading a recent bulletin that a woman posted. While I do not want to point her out I will not repost the chain bulletin or her name on her. I would hate to embarrass someone in this way. But I will give you the gist of what the bulletin said.

It was one of those "Date the nice guy" bulletins. Telling the reader that a woman NEEDS a man that will say this or that. I believe the truth behind the matter is that someone wrote it who was lonely or pretty close to that.

I will do a point by point dismissal on things I personally disagree on with this "boys view". I did notice that this bulletin did not say "Man's Point of View". *Shrugs* I will denote the original with BOLD and my own responses with Italics

**We don't care if you talk to other guys. We don't care if you're friends with other guys.**

We do care. We do get jealous of the fact that you even want to carry on a conversation or friendship with another guy when you have us. Any emotional stimulation or physical or spiritual should come from the man you claim to love. Not saying you can't be friends, but I have known oh too many marriages that have failed because the wife and/or the husband had close guy/girl friends that caused them to fall.

**But when you're sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room and you jump up and tackle him, without even introducing us, yeah, it pisses us off.**

First off, if you are going to tackle a guy? I am gone. I do not date or even consider a woman who tackles a friend guy or girl. Plus if you are with me, dating me, courting me, engaged to me, why then must you have so much physical contact with another man.

**It doesn't help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without even acknowledging the fact that we're still there.**

First off the bat, if you are a guy and you are sitting there and waiting for your girl to introduce you. You are way too NICE. Be a man, why make the woman introduce you. You are the bread winner, be a man and INTRODUCE YOURSELF.

**We don't care if a guy calls you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned. Nothing is that important at 2 a.m. that it can't wait till the morning.**

If I knew a man was calling you at 2am, I would have to have a talk with him. Either at a coffee shop or at a gun range. Either way, A man that knows that a woman is someone else's love should have enough respect not to do that.

**Also, when we tell you you're pretty/ beautiful/ gorgeous/ cute/ stunning, we freaking mean it.**

I cannot help but laugh at this. For if you doubt us, you must have a reason too. The guys reasoning behind reading this is that he wants something in return. When I told the woman of my life that she is beautiful. I said it because I had too, it was bubbling up on the inside of me and I said it. I didn't wait for her response I just had to get it out.

**Don't tell us we're wrong.**

This is part of the last one. If she tells you that you are wrong. Say it again. Plus if she says that you are wrong, then she has some self-image issues. The woman needs to know that she is God's creation. She is the best thing since the birth of creation. She needs to know that she is made in the image of God. And that you have recognized this beauty that is in her and she needs to show appreciation for your compliment.

**The sexiest thing about a girl is confidence.**

This comment has to be the most double sided comment I have ever heard. To be sexy has nothing to do with confidence, and plainly I would never ever say anything such as this out of my mouth. I rarely ever use the word sexy. I consider it somewhat derogatory.

**Push us down on the couch and make a move once in a while. We like that aggressiveness about you and we like the unexpected. When we know you're really happy, it makes us happy too.**

Fry crying out loud. What kind of a woman is this guy trying to attract. While yes spontaneous in a girl is an awesome trait. I like this, but why is the girl having to initiate a fun time. Errr....Why is there even a couch in this equation. If you are going to watch a movie, fine, but anything else should be reserved for either the serious time of engagement or marriage. I have experienced the sinful pleasures of the dating scene and I am saying. Never get horizontal. Its the downfall of a relationship and it will lead to sin.

**Don't be mad when we hold the door open. Take Advantage of the mood im in.
LET US PAY FOR YOU! DON'T "FEEL BAD" We enjoy doing it (Paying for you).
It's expected. Smile and say "thank you."**

So apparently, when he is in a good mood...when he is a nice guy...he will open the door for you. After that? No Soup for you! I think if the woman is a woman she will respond in the way that she feels best. I would never want to change or advise on that otherwise.

**You don't have to get dressed up for us.

If we're going out with you in the first place, you don't have to feel the need to wear the shortest skirt you have or put on every kind of makeup you own.

We like you for WHO you are and not WHAT you are.

Ladies I cannot stress this enough. We like you to dress up. The reason this guy doesn't is because he does not want to make the effort to dress up for you. He should want to constantly try to impress you. Even after marriage. He should put on some smell good and those nice pants and shirt and whatever else. Treat you like the woman that God made you to be.

It makes me sick when I visit a restaurant and see a woman all prettied up and the man is wearing sneakers and jeans and his shirt is not even pressed. The man should have enough respect to dress up for the woman. Its not one sided.

**Don't take everything we say seriously. Sarcasm is a beautiful thing. See the beauty in it. Don't get angry easily.**

Yet the word of God says that from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Simply put, whatever you have inside of you will come out. Your true thoughts and feelings will be known. Why use sarcasm.

Essentially we want you to be your own person. Not be a follower of other things.

Whatever happened to the word "handsome"/"beautiful" I'd be utterly stunned by a girl who greeted me with "Hey handsome!" instead of "Hey baby/ stud/ cutie/ sexy" or whatever else you can think of. On the other hand im not saying I wouldn't like it either ; )

Well I know what happened to the words. They are used by much more mature people than yourself. PS There is nothing wrong with the other sayings. I just had to make a point of some-kind.

Girls, I cannot stress this enough:

I cannot disagree with this statement more. I oppose it 100%.

I will explain. Biblically the women are not the ones that have to find. Its the man that has too. The bible says it many times. "He who FINDS a wife finds a good thing." and "For this reason a MAN will LEAVE his father and mother and cleave unto the bosom of his wife." Too many men are sitting back and letting the women do all the work. Men, we are called to be seekers and conquerers. We are not to sit back and just let the women take our responsibilities that God set in place for us. Its laziness!

(FIND) Someone who will honor your morals.
Someone who will make you smile when you're at your lowest.
Someone who will care for you even when you make mistakes.
Someone who will love you, no matter how bad you make them feel.
Someone who will stop what theyre doing just to look you in the
eyes....and say "i love you" ...

Wait on God. Trust God that he will give you the desires of your heart. Trust that the man he has for you is worth the wait. Stop pursuing that man. If you are doing it right now, stop, he is not worth it. He should be following the example of our Lord. Jesus seeks us out and stands right there by us when we need him. No matter what we do, He is always there. Even when we cheat on him with sin and vainity, he is there to love us.

Men, we have an example of what kind of men we need to be. Jesus.

Give the nice guys a chance!!!!!!

No. I wont. Nice guys? Guys that have no guts, no glory. Nothing that makes up who they are. I was considered a nice guy until the other day when people saw that I took down a criminal kicking and fighting. But I took him to the ground.

Women, Ladies, young women. Date, Marry, Court those men that can prove their love to you with actions. Don't continued to hang onto words that never produce results.

And so tonight I write something fresh and new.Not really, as it is probably the same rhetoric on any blog out there. But I love to write about what has happened to me in my life and what God is doing in my life because my friends all out there really do care, and read my work. Even if I am grammatically correct. At least I can spell without a spell check

And so I have ventured into political blogs yet again. This time I have pledged my writings in comments to a very liberal blog known as www.onegoodmove.org The site is teaming with liberals from every walk of life. Most are atheist or agnostic of most kinds. And what I find there is the same rhetoric I find among most of the population.


I find a prejudice against anyone who is different from them. The same openness and freedom of speech they speak so clearly of having and wanting to others, its almost as if they wish to deny freedom of thought to anyone who would choose to think about religion or the likes. These are just people and people are prone to errors as am I. I won't judge them for at anytime they can change or perhaps they just express themselves differently than when they do it online. I was this way, once.


What you read now is what you get.


Aspirations
I continue to search God's heart for his will among my life and through it. It is sometimes so hard to find it, but I know that God has placed the catalyst in my life that will thrust me into what he wants for me.


I have already been dreaming and thinking about the prospective of using my knowledge and the training I will obtain to become a human-rights lawyer in the regions of Africa. I love the dark-skinned people.


This might be some reason why I am also drawn to the woman who I love. She is dark-skinned. And boy oh boy is she the most beautiful creation among creation. And this is not something I say lightly. Where most of the world cares about the external workings of a female, they forget about the internal workings of a woman's character. The girl in whom I am in constant pursuit of is beautiful inside and out. Perfectly perfect in every single way, continually being soaked in the blood of our Lord. So beautiful and perfect she is, she needs no make-up or the like.


Excuse me for that tangent, but when I get to talking about her, I just cannot stop. I love the people of Africa, I hurt in their plight. I have never been and I don't want to go to some lush Morocco really, I want to go where the people hurt and need help and need Jesus in their life.


I already know in this day, that I will give my life in service of Jesus for the people of Africa. I have already been asked by some if I fear AIDS or HIV or disease in these areas of life. The answer I have for you and all of them is no, for if God is for me, who can be against me? No weapon formed against you can stand. For you if you drink or eat any deadly thing, it shall not harm you. I have been in situations already where I have been exposed to a woman who had AIDS and I came in direct contact with the blood, but I did not care because I had to lay hands on this woman and pray for her. God protected me in this. But I do not tempt God, by purposely touching deadly things. I will take precautions wherever I can.


Politics
Well when it comes to politics. You can be infuriated easily as it all depends on what you believe is going on or whats not going on.


What gets me right now is the unbelievable future of us not having income tax and having a universal 23% sales tax. This is unbelievable! It it is more reasonable to inact a universal 14% income tax rather than a 23% sales tax. I mean the tax code would have to be completely rewritten. Its crazy and late and...


CONCLUSION

Weeks before Matthew Murray armed himself with enough weaponry and ammunition to kill hundreds, attacking both a Christian missions training center and a Colorado Springs church, he apparently boasted in an e-mail that he had discovered and practiced the teachings of controversial British occultist Aleister Crowley, called during his lifetime "the wickedest man in the world."

Murray, 24, of suburban Denver, is believed to have been the gunman who shot and killed Tiffany Johnson, 26, and Philip Crouse, 24, at the Youth With A Mission campus in Arvada, Colo., early last Sunday morning. Then, about 12 hours later, Murray died when confronted by an armed security officer at New Life Church after he shot and killed sisters Stephanie Works, 18, and Rachael Works, 16, in the church parking lot. Half a dozen others were wounded in his attacks.


Philip Crouse, 24, from Alaska, was killed by an armed attacker while responding to a request for help by a lone individual at the Arvada, Colo., base of Youth With A Mission
WND reported at the time on the disturbing rantings Murray apparently left on several websites before – and even between – the attacks, including those reported by National Terror Alert, which documented a series of postings by "nghtmrchld26," which said, "You Christians brought this on yourselves … All I want to do is kill and injure as many of you ... as I can especially Christians who are to blame for most of the problems in the world."

Now the minister behind the Good Fight website, which has documented reports from rock stars themselves of their encounters with the occult and satanic influences through their experiences with rock music, is releasing an e-mail he received, which he strongly believes was from Murray.

Pastor Joe Schimmel told WND he recalled the October e-mail when he read the postings, included in WND stories, attributed to Murray. He said he thinks it's important for people to know what the attacker himself was feeling and thinking prior to his homicidal attack, especially since he's been described in the media as a homeschooled student from a religious family.


Tiffany Johnson, 26, of Minnesota, was one of two Youth With A Mission staff members shot and killed by an attacker in Arvada, Colo.
The e-mail, although it came from a man who identified himself as "Brian," most probably was from Murray, Schimmel says, because of the remarkable number of similarities.

Brian described himself as 24, as was Murray. Brian said he was raised in a "strict charismatic/Pentecostal/Bill Gothard home," as Murray's home has been described. Brian said he was homeschooled for 12 years, as was Murray.

And some of the writings in the Oct. 26, 2007, e-mail were identical, or nearly identical, to other postings attributed to Murray.

"I have since joined freemasonry and found, studied and practiced the teachings of Aleister Crowley/Thelema/The Golden Dawn, Qabbalah, H.P. Blavatsky/Theosophy, Manly P. Hall, Alice Bailey, and others," the writer told Schimmel.

The first name immediately raised his eyebrows, but since the e-mail did not ask any questions of the ministry, there was no immediate response. A WND e-mail to the return address listed went unanswered.

Crowley, who lived during the late 1800s and first half of the 1900s, was a bisexual, drug-addicted occultist practitioner and author who almost reveled in the media description of him as "the wickedest man in the world."

During a court case in the 1930s, Crowley was described by a judge as dreadful. "I thought that everything which was vicious and bad had been produced at one time or another before me," the judge concluded. "I have learned in this case that we can always learn something more … I have never heard such dreadful, horrible, blasphemous and abominable stuff as that which has been produced by [Crowley.]"

Crowley also founded Thelema, a religious belief that was drawn from his book, "Liber Al Vel Legis," or Book of the Law, which gives only two commands: "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law" and "Love is the law, love under will."

Crowley espoused a wide range of occultist activities and practices, and one of his compatriots reportedly died from drinking the blood of a cat during one ceremonial episode, according to documents on Crowley's life. Many believe Crowley was a forerunner to Anton LeVay, who formalized his beliefs in "The Satanic Bible" and established the Church of Satan.

While Crowley dabbled in the occult, magic, trances, drugs, sex and blood rituals, Schimmel told WND the writer apparently had sold his soul to another devil: rock music.

The e-mail noted that "music is a very powerful thing," and then continued with writings that appeared to have been assembled in the form of an article titled, "My Secret Drug Addiction":

I have a powerful addiction to a powerful drug that most people in my life don't know about. Really, it is somewhat my fault. It started in part due to pressures in my life, with family, Christians abusing me, church and religion, loneliness and pain. I was hurting and angry and wanted an escape. This fun and enjoyable activity, this powerful substance grew into an addiction and a powerful force in my life that now controls every part of myself. I have found this drug to truly be a force to be reckoned with. This drug can completely alter blood pressure, heart rate, brainwave patterns and other bodily functions.
This drugs influence, however, goes much deeper than physiological function, for it's (sic) effects penetrate into the deepest parts of one's soul. This drug will completely control a person's mind, what thought's (sic) they think and their emotions and how they feel. I found that this drug has the power to completely alter a person's religious beliefs, their morality, and their values and their entire lifestyle.

I didn't realize I was addicted until about 2 years after starting. I have to admit, I am addicted. I'm an addict and completely powerless over this drug. I had fun with it at first, but now it controls me. It used to be a small thing in my life, but now takes up on average at least 5 hours each day getting high. Most of my friends and family don't have any real clue though, because I'm able to get high on this stuff without them realizing what I'm doing. My usage doesn't conflict with, but rather controls all the plans in my life. I've found that I am completely dominated and controlled by this addiction. This drug is the most powerful drug that I know of. I have found the high and it's (sic) ability to control a person and that's (sic) person's belief's (sic) and lifestyle is unparalleled. This drug has the same effects as meth, in that it's a powerful stimulant, the addictive properties of heroin, and it has the ability of hallucinogens to cause one to trip and trance out into other 'realities.' This drug is far more dangerous and addicting than marijuana and even harder drugs.

Schimmel said his organization specifically documents and warns about the occult influences in rock music and modern society, and this rang an alarm when he first received it.

When he saw reports from National Terror Alert about postings thought to have been done by Murray, the alarm got louder.

The postings, on an online forum for former Pentecostals, have been removed. But other users said the writer had described himself as a former member of YWAM who had been asked not to join a mission trip and now wanted to "blow up and shoot everything I can."

The quotes included:

"I have found myself in deep trances and other worlds through the usage of this drug and have found my life radically altered and changed and (sic) by it. I found this drug to be a powerful driving force and easy gateway into a world of sex, other drugs, rebellion, homosexuality, alcoholism and many other dark things. … What is this mind altering life changing drug that has such an incredible power? Well, one of the main persons who has helped make this drug a powerful force in my life has been Marilyn Manson. ... The drug that I use and am addicted to is commonly known in our culture as … Rock Music."
Schimmel said the writings line up with what he knows about Crowley, and his influence, which sparked multiple references during the rock era of the 1960s, when some songs even included a tribute to "Mr. Crowley," he said.

He said his ministry has worked to show how Satanism can influence youth through music, and this was a factor not included in many media reports about the Colorado shootings.

But he said if the author had "practiced" Crowley's teachings, "he's opened himself up to a spiritual drug addiction."

"What he really is, is a Satanist, subscribing to the teachings of Aleister Crowley," said Schimmel, who told WND other leaders in the Crowley image have included Timothy O'Leary and Alfred Kinsey.

He said it was significant that there were reports that Murray "heard voices," because many rock stars who have, in his opinion, opened themselves to the occult, have reported similar events.

CNN reported a man who was Murray's roommate while he was at the YWAM training camp said Murray heard voices and sometimes talked to them.

The CNN report said Richard Lerner confirmed the decision for Murray to leave the program came from YWAM officials, along with Murray's parents, after Murray performed songs by rock stars Linkin Park and Marilyn Manson at a Christmas event for the Christian program.

Jeremy Reynalds, a correspondent for ASSIST News Service, also reported on Werner's comments. He said Werner described Murray's performance of rock songs as "pretty scary."

CNN said Werner, now of Brazil, recalled Murray would roll around in bed and make noises.

"He would say, 'Don't worry, I'm just talking to the voices,'" Werner said, according to CNN. "He'd say, 'Don't worry, Richard. You're a nice guy. The voices like you.'"

Police confirm shell casings at both shooting locations tie Murray to the deaths, and he was stopped when he was confronted by a security volunteer at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, who ordered him to surrender and fired when he didn't.

Authorities later confirmed Murray actually died of a self-inflicted gunshot.

A story that is about a serial killer who argues with himself about whether or not he should kill people. It shows throughout the movie his constant struggle with his inner lust to kill random people. Sounds morbid does it not? It showcases a normal man who runs a company and he has a family and a daughter who is all grown up. But as the story passes on, this man always faces his demon; his lust; his hunger for killing. And sometimes he succeeds at resisting that lust and you see him begin to pray and ask God for strength to resist his lust.

As he argues with his demon, he always tells the demon, the lust -that its the last time.

This movie reminded me of a struggle I used to always succumb too. I remember battling the lust of the flesh and always saying to myself, -THIS is the last time. But it was never the last time. It wasn’t necessarily a demon though. James tells us in the word of God, that we are not tempted to do evil by any other source, other than our own body, our own heart. Our heart, Our body is evil. It must be sanctified in order to be cleansed.

And the movie ends in such a way that neither describes victory, nor defeat.

I won’t spoil the movie. I love thriller movies. Yes, I skipped a whole chapter because of a nude scene in the beginning. But the rest of the movie was very intriguing.

How much this world is deceived though...You cannot change yourself, you cannot resist Satan on your own. The world is so blind, for they believe that if they can stop sinning a particular sin, it is as if they never sinned that sin at all. But the only one that wipe us clean, the only one who can wipe out that sin is the beautiful, loving and majestic Jesus. The son of God and King of kings and Lord of lords.

It starts slow, but if you usually read my blogs. It will be worth hearing what I have to say.

What can one write when your heart is so captivated by love everlasting?

I can speak of promise. Promise that Jesus will never leave us, nor forsake us. God never fails. Love never fails.

I have been reminded tonight of so many beautiful promises that I have let sitting still in my heart and tonight they have been brought back to life through the voice of a Pearl.

Sweet beautiful Lord, Thank you for everything that I never deserve. Thank you for your choices.

Thank you for writing my love story. Thank you Jesus.

I cherish your laugh, oh how the memories bring tears to my eyes.

My heart is heavy with the remembrance of such times. And God is using this in me to solidify what he has already instructed me to become for him.

Oh how beautiful you are. How beautiful you have become. I need not see to know. I need only to be blinded by your beauty to know.

Know how glorious you are and how God’s glory shines through you. Know this, this how I have always seen you.

You are my precious Pearl. I do not cast you before swine, I protect you and your purity and righteousness. I cannot do that from where I am physically, but I do it daily in prayer solitarily before the King of kings.

Stand fast dearly beloved. Press on with every ounce of blood you still have in your body. Do not be stressed, do not be worried. Cast all your cares and burdens on our Lord.

Know this, I wait for you. I pursue you. I pursue our God with fervent passion.

Our hearts will know each other soon. I have no worries, no doubts. I have promises made by God. I have promises from myself to you that are being kept.
